Cook Tops Import League Pitchers Tuesday, November 11th , 2059 The Seattle Pilots have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Conner Cook, this year's Import League Pale Ale Pitcher Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Cook compiled a 22-5 record in 30 starts, tallied 238 strikeouts in 205.1 innings and recorded a 1.67 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .182 batting average against him. Theodore Blume of the California Kodiaks finished second in voting, while Jannero Peter of the Baltimore Bulldogs finished third. |
