Wild Card Goes the Distance, Batavia Prevails Thursday, October 10th , 2052 After their 3-2 win today at Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower Field over the Philadelphia Freedom, the Batavia Muckdogs will advance to the Divisional Series. Batavia won the series by a 3-2 margin. Leading the way for the Muckdogs was third baseman Jerry Coleman, who had a spectacular series and was named MVP. "I don't play differently in the regular season or playoffs. I just go out and do my best every game," he said. "It's certainly nice to play in the big game, but you can't let it get to your head and change your focus."
