Carolina Devastated by Playoff Elimination Thursday, October 2nd , 2059 Carolina Tobs starting pitcher Charlie Spence said it is a "bitter disappointment" for he and his teammates to miss the playoffs. The remarks came hours after the club was mathematically eliminated from 2059 postseason contention. Carolina last appeared in the postseason in 2057. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 59 times in their 82 - year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Tobs have made the playoffs 4 times. Carolina last won the Brewmasters Cup in 2037. |
