Recovery Slow for Roadrunners Boone Gellings Saturday, August 9th , 2059 A frustrated Boone Gellings told reporters today that he would be out an additional 5 days after suffering a relapse in his recovery from a strained quad. "I thought my recovery was coming along great, but then this happened," the Phoenix Roadrunners catcher revealed. "It's disappointing. I expected to be back with the team by now." This year Gellings is hitting .240 with 6 home runs and 24 RBIs in 58 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .307 with 16 walks and 20 runs scored. |
