5-Hit Barrage by van Luik Thursday, February 15th, 2046 It was a parade of hits for Richie van Luik of the Europe at Bombay Grounds today. Connecting with regularity, van Luik finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats, but the Latin American rose to the occasion and rained on his parade with a 4-3 win. "van Luik was really good, we were just a little better," said Latin American manager Marco Rosaro in the postgame interview. "It's all right with me if he gets 5 hits every game against us, as long as we win." Richie van Luik singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th, struck out in the 9th and doubled in the 11th.
