Derryck Zamora was a vital contributor to the 12-6 Montreal victory over Hartford. The Exports first baseman was 4 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while adding 7 RBI and scoring once. Coreonte Lee was the winner. He's now 5-6. The loser was 26-year old left-handed pitcher Walker Short. With the win over Hartford, the Exports improved to 34-49.

With Montreal leading 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Zamora hit a sinker from Walker Short for a 2-run double. It was his 14th double of the season and put the Exports ahead, 3-0.
