Bulldogs Rebuff Pilots, 4-2
|
Joel Greer pitched well, but the Seattle Pilots still lost the game, falling 4-2 to the Baltimore Bulldogs at Hurricane Rice Arena. Riley Hein earned the win for Baltimore. He lasted 5.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 3. With the win, he raised his record to 7-4. The Bulldogs, at 58-27, sit in first place in the Import League Stout Division.
Owen Keimig, the Baltimore second baseman, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth inning to make the score 3-2, Bulldogs. For the game, Keimig was 1-4.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Baltimore manager Sandy Perez.
