Blues Deal Voodoo 5-2 Defeat
|
The Windy City Blues beat the New Orleans Voodoo, 5-2. Windy City pitcher and Kousséri, Cameroon, native Douglas Okeyo led the way. The loss drops the Voodoo to 4-5.
Ralph Neben, the 23-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Neben contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the third inning to put Windy City up, 2-1.
"I thought we played a nice game," Neben told the Windy City Gazette. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
