Divisional Series Game 1 Victory for Landrum and New York

The New York Cyclones started the Divisional Series in style today, downing the visiting Windy City Blues at Kennedy Field at Metropolitan Stadium by a score of 4-2 to stake an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Cyclones left-hander Alex Landrum threw 8.0 innings of 3-hit ball.
Landrum allowed 2 runs on 3 hits over 8 innings for the Cyclones. He walked 0 and struck out 9.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Landrum. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
