Canadians on to League Championship
The Divisional Series didn't live up to the billing from those who thought it would be an all-out battle to the last game.

But the Toronto Canadians are no doubt pleased by the results, as they have knocked out the Pittsburgh Millers 4-2 to advance to the League Championship.

"It doesn't matter how you win it, as long as you win it and get yourself moving forward," said Canadians center fielder Brian Wheat. "I know a lot of people thought this was going to be a really tight series the whole way through, but we're glad it didn't go right down to the wire."

Toronto won the final game by a score of 6-2 at Dylan Owens Stadium.

Wheat was named series MVP after hitting .500 with a .517 on-base percentage. He also had 0 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 5 runs.

The League Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
