Drillers Get Clonked by Patriots, 6-1
|
The Pawtucket Patriots stymied the Dallas Drillers, 6-1, at Pawtucket Park. Cameron Kingery had a good day at the plate. He was 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Pawtucket. Warren Lallier, now 3-5, was credited with the win in 1.2 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 2. Dallas has now lost 4 consecutive games.
Early in the game, Kingery had a 2-run home run for Pawtucket. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Patriots on top, 2-0.
"Just trying to keep things simple and helping the team win any way I can," Kingery told a local reporter after the game.
