Kimmons, Voodoo Wallop Drillers in Game 3 of WC

The New Orleans Voodoo moved to within one game of the Divisional Series, downing the visiting Dallas Drillers at Henry Byrd Field by a score of 6-2. Voodoo second baseman Rayford Kimmons did some major damage. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The win gives the Voodoo a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 Wild Card.
In the bottom of the fifth, New Orleans first baseman Julian Davis had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and two out, Davis stroked a 2-run double to center. It made the score 4-2, New Orleans. For the game, he went 2-4 with 2 doubles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"It feels good to get this one," Davis told the New Orleans Daily.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Henry Byrd Field in New Orleans.
