Flushing Sweeps into the League Championship
The Flushing Chiefs have cruised through the Divisional Series, easily sweeping away the Des Plaines Golden Heroes by a count of 2-0.

The final blow came with a 4-0 triumph at Playboys Ballpark, which sends Flushing on to the League Championship.

"There's a lot of focus from our team right now, up and down that bench and in the clubhouse," said Derian Romary.


For the series, Romary had a 0.00 ERA over 7.1 innings pitched, with a 1-0 record. He was named series MVP for his efforts.

The League Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
