Railers Heading to Divisional Series
Despite the best efforts of Connie Bashshar, the Reading Railers have won the Wild Card.

The Aberdeen Ironbirds standout was named series MVP, even though his team lost to Reading 5-4 in the final game, and dropped the series 2-0.

"Hats off to them, they deserve to be moving on," Bashshar said at Ballpark of Durham after being awarded his MVP trophy. "I just wish I could trade this trophy in for a chance at the Bush Championship."

For their part, the Railers celebrated long into the night, as they are now set to move on to the Divisional Series.

The Divisional Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wild Card finishes.
