Poly Prep Country Day School Sweeps into the Quarterfinals
It's a sweet sweep for the Poly Prep Country Day School Blue Devils and they have won the Sweet 16. The Notre Dame HS Knights were not able to keep pace with the Blue Devils and dropped the series in short order, losing 5-1 in the deciding game.

"This wasn't really the effort we hoped for," said Notre Dame HS manager Chayse Tijerina.

It's now on to the Quarterfinals for Poly Prep Country Day School after their 2-0 series win.

Leading the way for the winners was catcher Vince Moore, who was named MVP. For the series, Moore hit .500 with a .625 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 3 runs.

The Quarterfinals matchups and schedule will be announced after the Sweet 16 finishes.
