Floundering Cyclones Lose 15th Straight
New York wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Chase Lowe, falling to the Philadelphia Freedom, 6-3. Lowe threw 7.1 innings of 6-hit ball for the losing team. New York is in the throes of a long losing streak, which is now 15 games.

Philadelphia used the clutch hitting of Lee Vincent to snag the win. The pinch hitter drilled a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Freedom ahead, 4-3. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a crucial one.

New York manager Rory Vest said after the game: "It seems like when our pitching is there our bats haven't been and then vice versa. Right now we're just waiting for it all to click."
