Exports Clip Drillers, 3-2
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Montreal Exports and the Dallas Drillers, Jake Stewart was the difference-maker. The Montreal right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. The winner was Tyler Erickson in relief. His record improves to 6-1. Xander Crosby took the loss. The Domestic League Lager Division-leading Exports are 50-29.
Derell Machuca was the walk-off hero for Montreal. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Exports left fielder hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"This place went bonkers at the end," Stewart said.
