Cyclones Sneak Past Kodiaks, 2-1
|
New York Cyclones starter Cedric Erickson turned in a top-notch performance against the California Kodiaks at In-N-Out Field. The result was a win for the Cyclones, 2-1. At 43-35, New York is in second place in the Import League Stout Division.
California had little success against Erickson and his sinker. Erickson tossed 102 pitches over 9 innings for the Cyclones.
"I was a little disappointed," said California manager Louie Sumski. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
