Pilots Top Bats, 6-5
The Seattle Pilots faced a tough opponent in Washington pitcher Jeremy Jackson, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Port of Seattle by a final score of 6-5. Jackson went 5.1 innings and allowed no runs. The Pilots lead the Import League Bock Division by 6½ games.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the 19th, an error by the Bats allowed the Pilots to score the winning run.

"This place was jumping at the end," Carr said.
