Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Carolina Tobs and Philadelphia Freedom.

Dalton Dossett knocked in 3 runs to help Carolina beat Philadelphia, 5-3. Dossett produced 1 single and 2 home runs. The winning pitcher was D.W. Mulholland. He's now 4-4. He went 6.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 7 hits for the Tobs.

Carolina used a clutch at-bat from Rob Ahlbrecht to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Tobs ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
