Windy City and Phoenix duked it out and the Blues came out victorious.

Windy City right fielder Ezekiel Wolfson was a significant contributor in his team's 5-3 triumph over the Phoenix Roadrunners. He was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Blues. Denver Shottenkirk, credited with the save, is now 3 for 3 in save opportunities.

With Windy City leading 3-1 in the top of the fifth, Wolfson hit a fastball from Murray Williams for a 2-run home run. It was his 14th home run of the season and put the Blues ahead, 5-1.

"I put some good swings on the ball," said Wolfson.

The win for the Blues raised their record to 47-27.
