Sherwin Kendrick, who is tied for 6th in the DL in strikeouts with 72, propelled his team to victory over the Syracuse Snappers. The final score was 1-0, Wilmington. Kendrick yielded no runs over 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 2 hits, walked 2, and struck out 3. His record improves to 7-6. Earning his 2nd save for Wilmington was Raine Johnston.

The Sorcery got a big at-bat from designated hitter Jerian Barnes. For the game, Barnes was 1 for 3 with a home run. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 12th home run of the season gave Wilmington a 1-0 lead.
