2-1 Win Gets New Orleans to 43-28
The New Orleans Voodoo stopped the Pittsburgh Millers, 2-1, at Kennywood Park. The Voodoo got a big game from Edgar Pollert, who was 2 for 2 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. New Orleans reliever Deshaun Alohalani picked up the win, upping his record to 5-1. Daquein Kim took the loss. The third-place Voodoo improved to 43-28.

Pollert had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 0-1 fastball from J.P. Esteban, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Voodoo a 2-0 lead. It was the 25th home run of the year for Pollert.

"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Pollert told the New Orleans Citizen. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
