Boone Goes on Rampage Against Twisters
It was a parade of hits for Drayton Boone of the Austin Rustlers at Tulsa Grounds.

Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Boone finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Rustlers to a win, 10-7.

"Boone was really good and we were really bad," groaned Twisters manager Calvin Loffredo. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."

Drayton Boone hit a solo-shot off Bayard Kaulana in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Bayard Kaulana in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and flied out in the 9th.
