Despite a great performance by Pittsburgh designated hitter Nolan Dietrich, the Indianapolis Clowns defeated the Millers by the score of 8-5 at The Big Top. Dietrich slugged 2 home runs. Jaron Christopher got credit for the win, improving to 4-2. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2 innings. The win gives the Clowns a record of 22-46.

Indianapolis took the lead, 5-4, on Cordell Fortunato's 5th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Pittsburgh pitcher J.P. Lovins in the bottom of the seventh.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Fortunato said.
