Bernard Lifts Voodoo to 7-3 Win
|
New Orleans right fielder Andy Bernard had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the New York Cyclones, 7-3. The Voodoo now have a record of 35-30 with the win over New York.
Bernard had a key at-bat for New Orleans early in the game. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 17th home run of the season and gave New Orleans an early 2-0 lead.
Bernard called the win "a team effort."
