New Orleans Downs Washington, 10-4
The New Orleans Voodoo topped the Washington Bats, 10-4, in Domestic League action at The Capitol. The standout performance belonged to New Orleans pitcher and Forest Park, Ohio, native Drew Daniels. The Voodoo, at 29-35, sit in 4th place in the Domestic League Lager Division.

New Orleans used the bat of Devin Welninski to capture the win. The designated hitter jacked a grand slam home run in the top of the first inning to put the Voodoo ahead, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Daniels said.
