New York Gets Another L
Behind the bravura of left fielder Dustin Gaspard, the Toronto Canadians topped the New York Cyclones by the score of 8-5. Gaspard went 2 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Canadians. Kelvin Scruggs got credit for the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.1 innings. The slumping Cyclones have dropped 8 in a row.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the top of the sixth inning. That's when shortstop Jared Bradley, who is tied for 9th in the DL in triples with 3, hit a double. The Canadians went on to win.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Tom Dingman said.
