Cyclones Down Voodoo, 3-1
|
In a tight game between the New York Cyclones and the New Orleans Voodoo, pitcher Cedric Erickson was terrific on the mound. The New York right-hander helped his team to the 3-1 win. The Cyclones improve their record to 40-23 with the win over New Orleans.
New York center fielder Stefan Jamroz gave his club a productive at-bat in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the bases loaded and the Cyclones leading 2-1, Jamroz drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"I like what I saw today," said New York manager Dave Taylor, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
