New York designated hitter Louis May contributed significantly to his team's 8-3 win over the New Orleans Voodoo. May, the 17th overall pick in the 2059 draft, went 2 for 2 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Cyclones. Cooper Welsh, who is a two-time All-Star, was the winner. He's now 7-4. The loser was Tony Whitley. The win puts the Cyclones at 29-35, while the Voodoo drop to 38-26.

The Cyclones picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"We came out with clear minds and swung the bats well," said New York manager Conor Hill.
