Roadrunners Score Late to Upend Bulldogs, 4-2
The 4-2 Phoenix win over Baltimore was due largely to Spencer Stephens. The Roadrunners left fielder slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Phoenix reliever Trent Rogers was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Morgan Von Glahn took the loss. Phoenix has a record of 3-4.

Stephens had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a first pitch fastball from Morgan Von Glahn, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Roadrunners a 4-2 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Stephens.

"Bottom line," said Baltimore skipper Mike Dominquez, "we didn't play well enough to win."
