Kennywood Park was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Washington Bats and Pittsburgh Millers.

The Washington Bats topped the Pittsburgh Millers, 5-4, in Import League action at Kennywood Park. The standout performance belonged to Washington pitcher and North Hartsville, South Carolina, native Matt Benjaminson. The win elevated the Bats to 40-19.

Washington used a clutch at-bat from Jules Vaughn to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Bats ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We've got a great group of guys," Vaughn said, "and we're having fun right now."
