Starting pitcher Connor Mundy had a solid game. He was a big reason the Syracuse Snappers throttled the Dallas Drillers, 2-0. Carnell Torres, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save. Syracuse now has a record of 3-3.

Syracuse relied on the bat of Robert Wenstrom to get the win. The left fielder produced a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Snappers ahead, 2-0. For the game, Wenstrom had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Syracuse manager Robby Childress.
