Voodoo Take Home 4-1 Win Over Indianapolis
The New Orleans Voodoo downed the Indianapolis Clowns, 4-1, at Henry Byrd Field. Stellar pitching by Joel Thompson had a lot to do with it. The left-hander, who finished 3rd in the DL in wins with 16 in 2064, handcuffed his opponent all game. Jayden Lemley earned his 14th save, after closing out the game. The Voodoo lead the Domestic League Lager Division by 2 games.

The Voodoo got a big at-bat from left fielder Jamari Torosian. For the game, Torosian was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 16th home run of the season gave New Orleans a 3-1 lead.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Torosian.
