Greer Dominant in Pilots Victory
|
The Seattle Pilots got a magnificent performance from pitcher Joel Greer, who stifled the New York offense en route to a 1-0 Pilots win at The Port of Seattle. Seattle is in first place in the Import League Bock Division with a record of 32-18.
The Cyclones had trouble solving Greer, who surrendered no runs on 1 hit over 7 innings.
"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Greer. "Successful pitchers do it."
