The home crowd had a good time watching the Toronto Canadians and Santo Domingo Rum Runners get after it.

The Santo Domingo Rum Runners topped the Toronto Canadians, 8-1, with right fielder Ronald Anderson playing a big role. Anderson was 3-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Rum Runners in the win. Santo Domingo's record now stands at 69-92, placing them last in the Domestic League Lager Division.

Anderson contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Santo Domingo in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, Anderson took a fastball from Cato Nakasone and stroked the home run to right-center. His 29th home run of the season allowed the Rum Runners to leap in front, 2-1.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Anderson told the Santo Domingo Times.
