Los Angeles starter Brad Hudson pitched well against the Denver Bulls at Shark Park. The left-hander led his team to a win, 3-1, in 10 innings. Los Angeles currently is in 5th place in the Import League Bock Division at 63-84.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Los Angeles. That's when 24-year old right fielder Kody Ripley hit a 2-run home run off Max Carlisle to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"Brad was really on it," said Los Angeles manager K.J. Young. "He's got a feel for playing with the hitter front-to-back, side-to-side."
