The California Kodiaks defeated the Baltimore Bulldogs, 6-5, at Hurricane Rice Arena. California right fielder Spencer Stephens had a superb performance. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Payton Cooke, now 9-4, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 1 and walking 1. With the win, the Kodiaks sit at 84-62.

California took a 6-5 lead on Mitt Saginashvili's 21st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Saginashvili hit in the top of the tenth, left Baltimore pitcher Levi Backman shaking his head.

"Our team showed some resilience," said Saginashvili.
