Bulldogs Beat Visiting Bulls, 3-0
|
Baltimore and Denver got after it at Hurricane Rice Arena.
Baltimore got a first-rate effort from pitcher Riley Hein, who frustrated Denver hitters en route to a 3-0 Bulldogs triumph at Hurricane Rice Arena. Hein picked up the win for Baltimore, going 7 innings. He gave up no runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 2-0.
The outcome was still in doubt with two out in the top of the fifth inning, but Hein was able to pitch out of a jam. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Denver trailing 2-0, Hein retired Liam Gill, who grounded out.
With the win, the Bulldogs sit at 28-17.
