The fans at Riverfront Park witnessed quite a game.

The Wilmington Wildcats topped the Pittsburgh Millers, 9-6, with designated hitter James Mitchell playing a big role. Mitchell went 2 for 5 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Wildcats in the win. The Domestic League Lager Division-leading Wildcats are 85-59.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Mitchell hit a fastball from Garry Fanalua for a 3-run home run. The Wildcats, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Mitchell told the Wilmington Herald.
