The New Orleans Voodoo needed 11 innings to defeat the Baltimore Bulldogs, 3-2, at Henry Byrd Field. New Orleans center fielder Jensen Bishop had a superb performance. He was 4 for 5 with a home run, 2 triples, and a double. He scored 3 times. The win was credited to Parker Zielenski in relief. His record improves to 6-5. Blake Moss took the loss. New Orleans is now 75-62, while Baltimore is 71-68.
The Voodoo got a clutch hit from second baseman Rayford Kimmons. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Voodoo.
"No disrespect to the other team," said New Orleans manager Grant Driscoll. "But it's nice to get an easy win."
