The New Orleans Voodoo trumped the Indianapolis Clowns, 7-6, at The Big Top. New Orleans third baseman James Polly was terrific. He went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs. New Orleans reliever Blake Galik snagged the win, upping his record to 3-3. Payton Cooke shouldered the loss. New Orleans has won 3 straight, while Indianapolis has lost 3 in a row.

New Orleans used the timely hitting of Garett Thomas to seize the win. The catcher stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Voodoo on top, 7-6. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Thomas.
