Philadelphia Squanders Great Game by Jewett
|
Philadelphia third baseman Keegan Jewett was sensational. He was 3-4 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Seattle beat the Freedom, 9-5. Seattle has now won 4 straight.
Al Wagner, who is a three-time All-Star, helped out the Seattle cause in the top of the second inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the catcher went 1 for 4 with a walk.
"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said Wagner. "It sure beats the alternative."
