A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Phoenix Roadrunners and New York Cyclones.

Phoenix Roadrunners pitcher Holden Ritchey was in fine form, leading his team past the New York Cyclones, 7-1. New York's current losing streak is now 5 games.

Andy Thornton hit a 3-run home run off Vince Phaneuf in the bottom of the fourth, which put the Roadrunners ahead, 3-0. In addition to the homer, Thornton had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.

"Holden is a gamer," said Phoenix manager Tom McAdoo.
