Syracuse Snappers starter Kurtis McClellan hurled his team past the Santo Domingo Rum Runners, 4-2. Trevon Pearson closed the game out for Syracuse, earning his 10th save. The triumph puts Syracuse at 28-15 for the season.

The Snappers got a big at-bat from first baseman Spencer Buccheri. For the game, Buccheri went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 11th home run of the season gave Syracuse a 3-0 lead.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said McClellan.
