The home crowd was treated to a thrilling, walk-off win.

The New Orleans Voodoo took Dallas pitcher Benjamin Racek's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Henry Byrd Field. The final score had New Orleans getting past the Drillers, 5-3. Racek went 6.1 innings and allowed 3 runs, striking out 8. New Orleans is now 18-24. Dallas is 18-23.

The most significant at-bat for New Orleans came with a runner on 2nd in the bottom of the ninth. Voodoo left fielder Jefferson Turner hit a 2-run home run to win the game.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Turner.
