5 Straight Wins for Bats
|
The Washington Bats had to overcome a good performance from Seattle pitcher Mitch Warren to claim a 3-2 win at The Port of Seattle. Warren went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. Washington reliever Carson Engel was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Nic McClelland took the loss for Seattle. Jaden Ezell was credited with the save for Washington, his 2nd of the season.
Hayden Jones, the slugging first baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Jones contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the tenth inning to put Washington up, 3-2.
"Exciting game to play in," said Jones. "Getting the win makes it even better."
