Snappers Stay Hot With 6-5 Win
The Syracuse Snappers trumped the Pawtucket Patriots, 6-5, at Pawtucket Park. Syracuse second baseman Ben Piche was terrific. He went 4-5 with 2 triples and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Earning his 9th save for Syracuse was Trevon Pearson. With the win, Syracuse upped its record to 27-14.

Piche had no bigger at-bat than in the top of the fifth when the 22-year old second baseman hit a run-scoring triple. The triple gave Syracuse the lead, 3-1. It was his 3rd triple of the season.

"I like the roll we're on," said Syracuse manager Erik Pardue.
