Rhode Now 1-1 After Beating Cyclones
|
Batavia got an elite performance from starting pitcher Camron Rhode in securing a 4-0 decision over the New York Cyclones. The Muckdogs go to 16-25 with the win.
Rhode, who dominated for Batavia, earned the victory to move to 1-1. He was in control the whole game, scattering 2 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 6. New York batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"Camron did a tremendous job," said Batavia manager Dave Waddington.
