Voodoo Collect 3-2 Win Over Clowns
|
The New Orleans Voodoo did just enough to secure a victory over the Indianapolis Clowns, 3-2, at Henry Byrd Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Lucas Kirchner. With their winning streak at 4, the Voodoo have raced to a strong start this season.
The Voodoo relied on second baseman Lon Leseberg for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.
"I like the roll we're on," said New Orleans manager Dusty Guercio.
