The Carolina Tobs converted a terrific effort from starter D.W. Mulholland into a win over the California Kodiaks at Tobs Stadium. The Tobs won the game by a final score of 6-2. Carolina, now 3-1, is setting the league on fire so far.

In the bottom of the second, Carolina right fielder Chase Wright had a productive at-bat. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and two out, Wright stroked a 2-run single to center. It made the score 3-0, Carolina. For the game, he went 2 for 3 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
